Hi
I’ve had this Mimosa Pudica for a couple months now. Over the past month I noticed the leaves on some branches started to yellow, dry up, curl, and die off. I’d been putting it outside in the shade, so I assumed that it’d scorched. But a few weeks later, it’s been sprouting tons of new growth (despite leaves being a little sparse), but all of it keeps dying off and wilting after a while of growing, as if it has no water. I mist it almost daily, the soil rarely goes dry, I see no sign of pests or fungus. It’s not in heat, it’s not too cold.. Im hoping I can get some info on this. I love this plant, one of my favorites.
Don’t worry about any white crusty stuff on the branches, I checked it over and it’s just a little fertilizer than didn’t dissolve.
To add on, the leaves have been closing very slowly lately, mostly the older leaves. Some don’t close at all.

Most of the leaves look healthy but the stems look sparse, as if more leaves have been lost than gained. I would try to acheive more vigorous growth by putting the plant in more sun, and fertilizing regularly. At this time of year growth may slow due to less light, but try to counteract this by putting the plant in a sunny window. It is good to revisit what conditions the plant would prefer. Mimosa pudica wants regular water with good drainage and light ranging from full sun to bright indirect light.
