Hello! A couple of months ago I bought a dwarf Meyer lemon tree. It is approximately 4-5 feet tall. I’m located in New Jersey so it has spent a couple months growing indoors with a grow light to give it the correct lighting. It has grown new leaves since I acquired it.

Maybe a week or so ago I noticed new growth, my question is, is this the start of buds forming or new leaf growth? To me,it looks different the the new leaves that have grown before. I tried to do some research but it looks different then the purple buds I see online. I’ll attach pictures!

Thank you!
Stephanie

Yep, those are buds forming. On some trees they are a deep purple, others a pinkish color and on others a creamy white but they all have white flowers.
