Hi, wevew had this tree for 5 years. This year its come down with these little black bugs. Actually today and there's a lot of them. Any ideas how to get rid of them? The tree has ants every year but they don't seem to hurt the tree. I think the black bugs will for sure. Thanks

Those little bugs are aphids and a single lady bug isn't going to be able to be much help. But aphids are easy to control. You can use a strong stream of water to wash them away, you can spray with horticultural soap or you can use a spinosad based insecticide. But, the aphids aren't the main problem with your tree. The tree needs to be fertilized as it is chlorotic, in your case a lack of nitrogen. If the leaf veins were yellow instead of green it would be a lack of iron. If it were my tree I would do 2 things. First I would give the tree an application of blood meal out to the drip line. Then about 2 weeks later I would feed it with a pelleted organic fertilizer, a pound per inch of the diameter of the trunk out to the drip line. It will take time but the tree will get back to its old self.
