once upon a time i shared my living space with a houseplant, which was a trailer. the leaves were heart shaped, if i remember correctly, and the junctions where new branches grew from were little solid-looking white balls. it's a long shot, but if this rings any bells, that'd be great!

There are some lovely looking plants there, Sheal. I don't know if they helped Colm track anything down, but they might well give him ideas. I have to remind myself they only photograph the good ones, mine might not look like that.

thanks Sheal and Oliver. unfortunately i didn't see anything that looked like it, but then it was concentrating on heart shaped leaves. it's difficult to know what else to search for. do you know what these nodules are called? any search i tried just gave me trailing plants. the closest i could find was a String Of Hearts, but it's not that.

thanks Sheal. from what i can remember they were sort of sage colour, but i don't remember any patterning.

do you know what these nodules are called?

I don't know the precise name but they are probably nodules for new leaves or shoots.
