Medium tree

I live in Tennessee, 7b zone. Looking for a beautiful medium tree, for my front yard, no more than 25f height. No superficial roots. Full sun. colorful. Thanks

What kind of look do you want? one that the bark is pretty when the leaves are gone. one that gives up some flowers, one that the buds are pretty. one that is shaped interesting? what color leaves? something with a fragrance? does not give a lot of fall clutter?
