The March 2020 Photo of the Month is now open for entries! The theme this month is "Birds", so let's see what you've got! :snaphappy:

The rules are as follows:
  • Please submit your photo in this topic
  • No more than one submission per member
  • The photo must be your own (but not necessarily taken in your own garden)
  • Entries should be made no later than 20th February
  • A poll will be released on 21st February to select the winning photo, and voting will take place until the end of the month
  • In the event of a tie, the admin will cast the deciding vote
  • No discussion in this topic - you will have a chance to comment on the photos when the poll has been released
  • The winning photo will be announced on 1st March and the winning photo will be shown on the sidebar during the whole of March.
Good luck! (y)

Pic taken in our garden at SandburRanch in 2009. This Barred Owl was taking a nap on a Black Walnut limb and approximately 5 meters above ground level. The bird seemed to be un-aware I had quietly walked under the tree for these photos.

Beautiful photos @SeniorCitizen :). There's only 1 photo entry available for the photo of the month competition, could you please let me know which photo you'd like to be considered for the entry?

Sorry bout that, and now you mentioned it I do recall reading that but wrongly assumed it meant 1 bird only.

I edited the pics and the text to read singular. If this doesn't correct the problem feel free to do what's necessary if that's possible.

Thanks,
Seniorcitizen

This Peacock spent most of its time here in our garden at Solitaire, last year. We are now awaiting its return.
