"Long hot" peppers

I'm in nj and plenty of times I've eaten "long hot" peppers fried in olive oil. These peppers are about 8 inches long by maybe 1 1/2 wide. They're green with a pretty good amount of heat. The problem is I want to grow them but I cannot find out what kind of pepper it actally is.

Can anyone help me?

Probably Anaheim Chili, they are medium hot and are popular in the Northeast.

Could be Hungarian wax peppers. What part of NJ are you in?
