I technically live in a zone still viewed as acceptable to grow lingonberries. But I live in an urban heat island that has a LOT of hot summer sun exposure. I've been toying with the idea of adding lingonberries to containers and beds but wonder if anyone has experience growing them in an area with higher heat and humidity?

No, lingonberries cannot grow well in hot, dry conditions, they prefer cool, moist climates and thrive in acidic, peaty soil, so they will struggle in areas with excessive heat and drought. AI

That's what I'm hearing but ever the experimenter... Well... You know. This guy is in zone 7 and he's had a few issues as well...
