It looks like a tree seedlings. What kinds of trees do you have in that area that have leaves that look like that?
Well, the nearest two trees are maples but they’ve been there for years and these just started showing up this year. There’s an Aspen a couple houses away but these don’t look like Aspen leaves.

Are there any Hackberries in the neighborhood? Birds can carry the seeds for quite a ways inside and deposit them in their poop.

You'll just have to let it grow more for an ID, unless someone here has the same species and can ID it at such an early stage of life. I agree it looks like some type of tree seedling.

Birds are the biggest contributors in my yard for all the tree seedlings I'm gifted, but since I don't have a lawn I welcome those trees and use them as chop-and-drops. However, I have received quite a few mulberry trees and they produce very sweet tasting mulberries, so a win-win as far as I'm concerned.
