Lawn has some yellow patches along the sides

for some reason i found the lawn of my new home with some yelow patches only in the sides. I atached two images, my sago plant is also getting yellow T.T (its all new)

Did somebody spray some kind of chemical, like round up or something? Could also be burnt grass from over fertilization.
