I want to overwinter this lavender plant in a pot. (I don't have a good spot in the ground for it.) Obviously it needs a bigger pot... what type of pot would you recommend and how would you recommend wintering it? I bought it this year for $2 and it was only about 2 inches high....it grew so well.

Firstły, don't repot now....leave until the spring.
Keeping it dry ...dryish ......is important.
A greenhouse would be fine....it will cope with dry cold
Trim back in early spring. It will flower then in summer (y)

@Verdun thanks for the reply.... I don't have a greenhouse. I was thinking I might dig the pot down into the ground a little and just leave it outside against a wall. Thanks for tip on waiting for spring to repot and trimming in the spring. :)
