Hi,

I'm a bit of a gardening newbie, and recently bought some plants to create more of a varied garden.

One of these is a "Lavandula angustifolia" lavender tree.

Sadly, recently it's been riddled with these small green bugs on the leaves.
Also leaves are yellowing, and a lot of leaves on the "inside" of the tree have died.

Can anyone identify these bugs?
It's hard to do this with info on the net, a lot of sites don't seem to have pictures :(

thanks :)

Peter

Those are aphids. Blast them off with a strong stream of water and/or spray them with soapy water. I don't know what insecticides you have in the Netherlands but if you can get a Spinosad based product it will take care of any insect you may encounter.
