The January 2021 Photo of the Month is now open for entries! The theme this month is "Anything Goes!", so let's see what you've got! :snaphappy:

The rules are as follows:
  • Please submit your photo in this topic
  • No more than one submission per member
  • The photo must be your own (but not necessarily taken in your own garden)
  • Entries should be made no later than 20th December
  • A poll will be released on 21st December to select the winning photo, and voting will take place until the end of the month
  • In the event of a tie, the admin will cast the deciding vote
  • No discussion in this topic - you will have a chance to comment on the photos when the poll has been released
  • The winning photo will be announced on 1st January and the winning photo will be shown on the sidebar during the whole of January.

It was extremely difficult to choose from the thousands of photos in my digital folder. Peppie our pet cat loves to sleep in different poses. This is one such.

this watercolor has a story with it.
some years back we were asked to be one of the homes and that year's garden tour.
the woman in the painting came and set up her easel in our backyard, of which I took a picture, printed it, and gave it to another woman who was there that I knew, (I took care of her lawn). She took it to her art class and this is what she painted. She had it for some time, but when she moved out of state she gave it to me, where it hangs now!
