This is the Eurasian Horse-chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum), in the Soapberry Family (Sapindaceae). It is originally native to the Balkan Peninsula, Anatolia, and Turkmenistan, but now also widely planted for its beautiful form and flowers.
It is not closely related to the edible Chestnuts of the genus Castanea, in the Beech Family (Fagaceae),
...so don't roast those chestnuts! The seeds of Horse-chestnut are poisonous.
