It reminds me of "Praecox" if you google for images and compare and see what you think

Rhododendron praecox was one of the very first in our garden to flower..in February/March.
The leaves are quite small and neat.
I do not think that fits with image posted by 420benz.

That kinda looks like it. Don't know why it is blooming now. I thought they were spring bloomers.

It is rhododendron and someone has helped you to nail down the name! The rhododendron around here is blooming in the late spring to early summer, or at least that was what I saw every year. They are beautiful flowers!

Oh, I am sorry if you feel like I am "huffy" about it! It was not my intention but more like you have found the species and you have beautiful flowers. Again, it wasn't intentional.
