Hi there, can you help me identify this please? I don't think it had any significant flowers to speak of - i.e not the pretty California lilac... . It's been grown as a tree. I didn't know if they had little berries on??? Or is something completely different?

Dang scientistical names! I tried to google it and laughed at my misspelling! I would go with the prior answers. Mine seems fishy.
