I've found the most interesting collection of flowers ever (I think), Some of those flowers really made me wonder if they were actually real or Photoshoped, but as far as I know all those flowers/plants are legit. I hope you like them!

All absolutely fantastic and fantastical Trellum. How did you find them all? I have seen a couple before but that's it. I'll have to go back and have another look. The little monkey "trapped " in the flower is so cute.

Those are great, @Trellum. Love the monkey and chicory flower especially.
I had foxgloves aka digitalis at my last house. They're quite poisonous to both animals and people though so while gorgeous, I haven't planted any here.

Beautiful! I think some are Photoshopped, as you mention and others not. Either way, still spectacular imagines of unique flowers. I agree with CanadianLori the Chicory Flower is both unusual and interesting, one of my favorites you posted. I have never seen a flower bloom in such a way.

Wondering if anyone has grown this flower or seen it in person up close?

We grow Chicory, Cicorum intybus, but only in the white form. Our blue one and the pink one both have disappeared. Sad really, they are nice plants. Never managed to get a picture of the flowers at that stage though.

That is a real shame :( But I guess with a look like that they had to be a very unsafe plant :( I have noticed the most extravagant flowers tend to be somewhat poisonous. Thanks for the info!

I spend a lot time on Pinterest ;) I like to look for strange looking flowers and other things over there. Mostly recipes, and useful info graphs :) I have so far found so much information on there =D It's excellent for baking projects and so on. I'm glad you liked the flowers, some of them are so extravagant!

They are all gorgeous flowers! The first one looked like it was photoshopped or painted, but the rest I think they are real.

Those in photos are great collections. Although I am not fond of flowers since vegetables and fruits are my main likes, those flowers have that elegant look. And what really gets me is the lips with the lipstick. I don't know if it looks real or not but it is simply a novelty for a flower to have red lips in its bloom. By the way, we have some flowers in the garden but I just don't know the name.

You are right, that one was most likely enhanced in order to adopt such a beautiful color :p As far as I know the rest weren't retouched, but I could be wrong. I still thought the first one was so pretty :) I hate it when people ruin perfectly beautiful photos by retouching them to make things look so different.

Really beautiful flowers, I have only seen a photo of one of these before. Where did you find these, can we really purchase some of these flowers for our own yards?
