Indoor Hydro Growing System

I want to grow cucumbers over the Winter indoors. I saw some hydro plant systems that were made in a singe coffee can, so I was wondering if I can be successful. I am going to try one cucumber plant and see how it does. Any ideas?

Ohh I'm interested in knowing too! I'm afraid I don't have any advice for you but I'll be watching this thread to see what advice we can get .

I got the coffee can today, now I will be going to get the container that the plant and gravel sit in. Oh, I guess I will be getting the gravel too. I have the pump from my fish tank. No more fish, so I will use it for this. Lets see what happens
