This collection of shrubs grew better than planned and now I know something has to come out but what would be best ?!

It's difficult to tell with a two dimensional picture, but basically you want to take out the one which provides most space for others, so if that really is a row of three across the the back nearest the fence losing the centre one would allow either side to grow. Have you considered transplanting smaller ones, or taking cuttings to put elsewhere and making sure they strike before removing the originals?

I like your bed the way it is, because everything looks really nice. Why remove anything when your plants are growing so well and look good?

What ARE the 4 across the back? Knowing what they are will help with spacing suggestions and maybe transplanting. Some things are easier to transplant than others.
