I have had a Stephanotis for several years and this morning I noticed a largish “fruit” on it. This has never happened before and I am assuming it is a seed pod but am not sure. Has anyone else had this appear on their Stephanotis? If so, what should ai do about it?

Greetings, welcome to the Forums.

The white, fragrant blossoms may be the main attraction of Madagascar Jasmine (Stephanotis floribunda, formerly Marsdenia floribunda), also known as or Hawaiian Wedding Flower; but the large oval fruit also add interesting curiosity to the vine.
Enjoy its presence, for it will not harm the plant. Eventually it will dry and split. At that point you may wish to discard it in your compost.
Of course, you could collect the seed and try growing your own crop of Stephanotis floribunda.
