Hello, I received this shrub as a gift years ago. It hasn't grown much and has some really pretty flower bunches. My old neighbor gave it to me in a bucket and I planted it. I didn't think much of it but it's really growing on my (no pun intended). It's seems to have dropped seeds or maybe runners next to it and has several sprouts. Thank you from NW Indiana!

I would say you have a white Lilac, Syringa vulgaris. If you remove the grass within 3' of the stems it will grow faster. Also some all-purpose or Rose food will make it grow more vigorously.

Happy Plant Parenting!
