If you're clicking the lightning bolt it only shows new to you posts, but if you click on your profile it'll have a section called your content where you can see them

Untick Only unread if the filter is on or look at latest activity

I hit the cloud that says gardening forums to refresh the page. Then you see everything that's new.

Are you saying you hit the enter key instead of hitting the 'Post reply' green button at the bottom of your posts on the right?

I click the POST key. Post gets posted. Turn off computer, tomorrow try to find the post it is no where to be found. If some one makes a comment about the post only then it can be found.

For recent posts click on "What's New" in upper right and then on "Show only : unread x" which appears in the upper left to see all recent posts.

That's strange, I've never experienced that. They should display when you use your computer again.
