Hi everyone,

I am looking for some help with my garden this year. last year I had some issues with my zucchini, yellow squash and pumpkins. They all rotted at the stems and a good amount of the squash started rotting when they were growing, Anyone know what would cause this and how to prevent it from happening again this year? also shout I avoid planting in that area again?

Your plants were attacked by the squash vine borer. Read in full the following link by Texas A&M. Till up the area and don't plant squash there again for at least 2 years.
