This cactus plant is growing fast to become a giant cactus tree and I wanted to move it to different location on my front yard. Can it be moved? If so, how can I move it? Dig from bottom? Will it kill the plant if I move incorrectly?

Can it be moved?
yes...but this is a bad time to do it. The best time to transplant a cactus is during its dormant period, usually in late fall or winter.

Carefully dig a trench about 1-2 feet away from the plant and dig deep enough to loosen all the roots.

For cactus it is recommended to allow the roots to air dry before replanting to prevent rot.
Will it kill the plant if I move incorrectly?
Yes...move at wrong time, cut too many roots digging, choosing a poor location, planting too deep or too shallow... all can contribute to its demise.

Thank you for your reply and tips/suggestions. I will wait till fall but it might grow much bigger I think.🙏
