How are chill hours affected when grafted to root stock ?

Let's say that we have two Apple varieties.

For instance, Dorsett Gold requires 100-25 hours. Arkane requires 800 hours.

If I were to graft an Arkane scion to Dorsett root stock, would the Arkane still require 800 chill hours?
Would this have any affect at all?
