Pepper Face (Peperomia obtusifolia), also confusingly known as Baby Rubber Plant, is a semi-succulent herb in the Black Pepper Family (Piperaceae), native to Florida, Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. It is one of many Peperomia that are popularly grown as house plants in temperate regions, and as garden plants in the tropics.
