*Disclaimer I have completely no previous experience with gardening and plants.

I live in Los Alamos, CA. On one side of the garden I have these Calla Lillies and on the other side I just spread some California Wild Flower seeds

For watering I am using ~15GPH drip watering sprayer/drip watering vortex.

I have a Ecowitt Soil Moisture probes in each flowerbed

Can you please advise on what should the correct watering schedule be and what should be the target soil moisture for each flowerbed?

Welcome @FlawlessMistake . I believe in keeping it simple...when the soil is dry water them. Calla Lilies like consistent moisture—never bone‑dry, never swampy. Wildflowers kind of depend on the type but they should be ok with consistent moisture. However, some may need less moisture as they mature.

Let us know how this goes.

You have lost me there, I judge by sticking my finger in the ground :)

There really are a number of variables. I'm guessing anywhere in California is drier and sunnier than England, but while what you are growing makes a difference, Meadowlark is right , most plants like constancy, little and often is usually a good rule of thumb.

Try to keep your plantings to plants that like similar conditions if you are going to grow them next to each other. Its hard to let some dry out and keep others moist when they are next to each other.

Try and determine your normal soil conditions to compliment what you plant too.

I was thinking about 'Little and often', its good for shallow rooted stuff like you probably have in your flower beds, but if the plants are deep rooted they want a good soak so the water goes down a way or they won't develop proper root systems.

Hello!

I have some Calla in the yard, and one thing will stunt them and that is lack of sun. Think Cactus. Thermonuclear Armageddon could be another description. It worries me that your pic has no shadow, so no one can help with that. Ok perhaps a Roman sundial? Very useful, since 1) to read it you need sun, and 2) it most definitely tells you how long you have sun.

Hello from Santa Barbara. Good luck with the valley frost and heat. Ha.
