Help with overwatered garden

Hi all, I'm looking for advice. I'm an amateur. I planted 3 plants in large containers (early girl tomato, lemon cucumber, and jalapeño). We received an unexpected large amount of rain and now the soil is very wet. What is the best remedy? I'm concerned about mildew and root rot.

Hello and welcome to GF
If you have just planted them maybe you can take them out, if not they should be alright because the roots would have gone down enough.
If they have holes in the bottom and not on a saucer or tray they should be alright.
