I'm new to having houseplants, and so I'm looking for some help here. I've seen some of these sphere shapes and small bugs at the base of my calathea beauty star, and tried to spray neem oil and take out the ?eggs? to remove the issue. the eggs are all bundled in chunks in certain areas. However, it's been about 2weeks and they're back again. I can't seem to identify what bugs they are, and the neem oil apparently did not kill them. I'm not sure how to attach an image...

They are probably snail eggs. There are numerous ways to get rid of snails and slugs but my favorite is a product called Sluggo Plus. Just google how to get rid of snails and you will see a bunch of methods.
To be honest, I would like a sharper photo. If possible, play around with the macro and zoom functions on your camera until you get a tight, focused shot.
