I’ve had my baby for about 3 months and her leaves kept turning black and rotting but would continue to grow. I decided to put her in the backyard rather than inside and the black isn’t as dominant now but now the leave are turning yellow. Does anyone have any idea on what I should do?

Hi, yellow leaves are often caused by these factors:
Too much water given to your sunflower. If so maybe you should only water when necessary.
Lack of sunlight. Put sunflowers in full sun
Lack of nitrogen levels. Try to too over water the sunflowers
Incorrect pH levels. A soil test might help as sunflowers prefer soil at 6.5 to 7.2.
Pests such as aphids or spider mites. Neem oil sprays work well against these pests.
However, it could also be caused by fungal diseases if so you could use some ready to use copper fungicide.
