This bush was one of the only plants on our lot when we bought this house five years ago. It has never blossomed and I dislike thorns, so I'm thinking about removing it. Before I do, I'd like to see if there is any hope for a blossom. It might be a flowering quince, but since I've never had a blossom, I don't know.
Description: Thorny. Loses it's leave in the fall. Grows fairly quickly. Height estimated at 4-6 feet, but clearly has been over-trimmed.
This photo is a two-inch piece of branch.
Thanks!
