Total novice to gardening but have been gifted two young trees by my mum and I am trying to work out what they are so I can care for them correctly as she didn't know what they were either. Any help appreciated.
Hello @Ythgirw and welcome to the forum. I thought these were apple trees, but @zigs reckons they look more like Sallow trees (pussy willow) .................... he`s better at trees than me
Thanks for the reply @Tetters. My mum doesn't seem to think it's apple either as the leaves are much softer than the apple tree in her garden. I'll do some research on Sallows and I just realised I should have posted this jn the plant identification thread.
