Sorry these are difficult to identify in your pictures. Close up shots of foliage, flowers or any berries would be most helpful please.

And thank you, Esther, for the Pieris ID. I can see why it's one of your favorites. I hope I can convince this one to thrive, after about a month under a very big pile of snow.

I think the other plant might be an azalea. Better (I hope!) photo attached.

Pieris, are usually fearsome with snow, Have a few that have had snow and still keep on ticking. Yes, that could be an azalea. My azalea is not in bloom yet, its leafs probably look like that, so not to worry.
