I adopted this plant and the guy who gave it to doesn’t know what it is and I can’t find it online anywhere.

I need to know now how to care for it so it doesn’t die. Please help!

Looks like Ribbon fern, likes bright light but not direct sunlight. Soil needs to be kept moist and mist plant if air is dry.

I agree, its a type of fern. Don't let it dry out, they had that and start to get crispy!

Greetings, welcome to the Forums.

Silver Ribbon Fern or Japanese Brake (Pteris parkeri), in the Brake Family (Pteridaceae), is a popular ornamental fern for garden and houseplant situations. It is native to Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.
It is still commonly referred to by the synonymous names, Pteris cretica var. albolineata and Pteris nipponica.
