Hello Margde

Has your Araucaria been kept in too warm a room for this time of year ?
Even though they are not frost-tolerant , the species appreciates a cool Winter rest during the period of lower-light intensity ; kept just slightly damp to avoid root dessication .
When the days warm up and become frost-free , try growing it outdoors in a sheltered position .
I don't know which province of Canada you inhabit , but years ago I visited Ontario in June ; far too hot and humid for my liking , but perhaps would have been OK for your tree !(y)
