Hi all.

I think I may have over done it, but I have a mixture of chilli seedlings that have been on a heated propogator, they all looked healthy but now they have started to curl in on themselves.

They have been on a heated mat and I decided to take them off yesterday when I noticed how they were looking.

Do you think it was too much heat?

Any help would be really welcomed!

Mike

I'm new to growing chilies myself, but I have noticed the seed casing tends to stick to the seed leaves a long time leaving them curled. However, I never leave stuff in the propagator once it has germinated and showing properly. I take it out and put it on a sunny windowsill so they get lots of light, but it is still warmer than the greenhouse overnight. Left with the bottom warmth I find it tends to grow tall and leggy. Most of my experience is with other things than chili mind.
