HELP: brown spots and cracking on petiole of my fiddle leaf baby

Hi guys,

I bought a fiddle leaf fig 2 months ago. It was growing really well but 2 weeks ago I started noticing brown spots on its leaves and stem. When I looked at it today, I noticed that one of its petiole has a crack! Please help me save my baby fiddle! My bf thinks I’m crazy and overthinking it but my gut is telling me that something is wrong.

So, it’s been almost a month and how are things going? The crack on the petiole is from shipping damage where the leaves were pushed up to cram them closer together, just like you did to take the picture.
How are the spots progressing? Getting bigger? Getting more? Leaves turning yellow/falling off? Post some more pics so we can see what’s happening.
