I am thinking about starting a garden with my mom. I live in Arizona. Trying to find the best way to do this, as in Arizona it is hard to keep things up if you don't have experience.

What are you thinking about growing? Vegetables, flowers, cactus & succulents (easiest for you out there I bet haha). Are you planning on using containers or planting in the ground? I'm in New Orleans so it's a very different climate than yours, but I can maybe give you some ideas.
