Wow! I've never been to Dubai, this place looks so interesting and impressive. I'm not sure if I like the architecture, because in general, I prefer very old-fashioned buildings and I love being surrounded with trees and gardens, but still, I definitely would like to see Dubai with my own eyes.
I'm sure that it was an unforgettable trip:)

Oh it really was so impressive Claudine and there are still old buildings.
And of course lots of sand.

we tried to get into the garden park but when taxi drove us there and a long way from hotel it was ladies only day .

And the new Miricale garden was closed for refurbishment till this week..

Thanks for sharing the link here :) I liked the pictures a lot, unfortunately I've never been to Dubai :( A friend of mine has tho, he liked that place a lot he's thinking of going back on a holiday there soon. He has even invited me :p I think there are a lot interesting things to see, but it must be a really expensive place, isn't it?

As expensive as you want it to be.

We stayed in the Holiday Inn Al Barsha and were close to the Metro Station so bought a card and used it a lot.

Walked to the Mall and ate in the Mall Restaurants we never thought it was expensive to eat.

And if you do get the chance to go you must visit Dubai Museum its so good very intersting .

And of course Dune Bashing and the amazing Burj Kalifa

Looks amazing and sounds like you had a great time! It's difficult to appreciate the scale of the huge buildings, and I guess even when you are there it must be difficult to take in. I remember the first time I saw a skyscraper up close I nearly fell over backwards from looking up!

P.S. Dune bashing sounds like great fun!!

Yes we did Becky it was wonderful .

The dune bashing was just not long enough.

Went on the camel hated it.But you have to do when you are there.

There were 3 couples and 1 3yr old child in the jeep and kiddie kept screaming she was too young should never been allowed so think our trip may have been cut short.

That's a shame, I'm really surprised they let such a small child on there o_O
