I'm curious to know if it works.

I've never heard of something like this, nor did I realize cucumbers make a chemical reaction with aluminum. The more you know, I guess.

I will be trying this. This is like a one dollar tip to save a lifetime of headaches.

I have never heard of this tip but I would want to know what type of pest we are talking about here.

So interesting, anything organic is something I would like to try =D Definitely going to try this in the future and see if actually works. It's organic after all, nothing bad can come out of it ;)

Well this is a new one on me. Does it just affect garden pests or would it bother pets, birds etc. It sounds like a great solution to pests as long as the friendly animals aren't affected.

This is a really interesting method! But I don't think I'll give it a try. I don't want to scare off all insects and animals. Many of them are very welcome in my garden:)

I read a comment where somebody said they were at an Amish market and they had the cucumber slices on an aluminum plate on a stand. They saw bees landing on the cucumber and leave immediately because they didn't like it. I don't want to keep bees away from my garden, so I guess I won't try it either.

I guess that's worth a try in my bonsai area. That would still leave plenty of garden for the bees.
