Hi, I have a small garden and a small vegetable patch around my house, which I cultivate in my spare time. Unfortunately this year due to the drought I had some losses, but thanks to the temperate winter climate I will be able to recover in the winter.Greetings to all of you.

Hi, welcome to the forum.
I have been digging out my beds and replacing a layer of sub-soil with wood before putting the top soil back. A lot of work, but the beds I have done survived the drought much better than the others. Be careful to just use untreated wood though

Ciao, amigo: I hope you are mulching ----- a lot. Where we live (Southern California), we're in a nearly perennial drought "season." Years with record low rainfalls. The cost of water here is punishing. Mulching is the way to go.
