I have a small garden but want to step it up with a greenhouse. Do you guys have any recommendations of greenhouses you bought? I've seen a few popup ones from the store but I want something bigger than those. I saw one from a company called Weatherport, but am still not sure. Any input would be great!

Thanks!

I put this one up in the spring and its working well for me http://www.amazon.com/STRONG-CAMEL-Greenhouse-Larger-Garden/dp/B008QUQNFC (was even cheaper on ebay)

I need something to get seeds started earlier, bring some planter boxes in to keep the growing season going longer into fall and serve as general storage space. This has more than exceeded my expectations for that. It wouldnt work for winter gardening since it would be impossible to heat well, but I dont need it for that purpose.

Both of mine are about the 6x6x8.

One was (I turned it into a shade house) a shelter logic like this. I don't really recommend it, initially it was ok, a little warm for where I live actually (think tent). Where is shines is as a over winter location for frost sensitive plants you can't leave outside as with my Plumerias.

One I would recommend if it works fro your location and size is the infamous / famous Harbor Fright 6x8. I'm on my fourth year with mine and have absolutely no complaints. It is a great starter greenhouse in my opinion. I am on the west coast so conditions are typically mild i.e. no snow or strong winds. I have it set up with automated irrigation (both mist for germinating and drip for pots) light, heat... Works great.

For a look inside and some of the tables I built and the irrigation look here.

I suppose the best greenhouse that one can acquire for a small garden is the Amiran greenhouse system which is an Israeli technology. Its affordable and comes with plenty of accessories and fittings. Its also long lasting. Its tried and tested for greenhouse gardening in small spaces.
