Monday I had to have my beloved Chocolate Lab put down at the age of 14. He was a great companion and protector. He loved children and hunting. He leaves a giant hole in our hearts and is especially missed by our other dog, Spike. As sad as this is The good memories I have of him I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Chocolate Labs have been in the news.
It is hard to end the suffering one sees going on in the last few days. Dogs more then other pets become an fundamental part of our daily and no matter what are happy to see us. A little video by Baxter Black.

Sad for you silentrunning . It's been 12 months since we lost our wonderful Max and I still miss him but sooooo grateful I had him in my life. Worth the heartache and the sadness. I wouldn't have missed him for anything and I'm sure you'd agree.
