I’m in the Phoenix area and we have been in the high 90s low 100s and I plan to add some more Ficus along my block wall for extra privacy. Think I should wait til it cools down a little bit more or should it be safe? I want to get the plants in a good root state before the winter comes (even though it’s not like winters elsewhere).

Howdy @Griffin. You'll probably get different opinions, but mine is to wait maybe a month for a less harsh sun angle and maybe a bit cooler...especially if we are talking about bare root plants.

They will still develop good root systems then and during winter.

Thanks Meadowlark! That was my initial thought too was to wait til the end of this month. Plus it will be a lot nicer planting them when its not still super hot!
