For marketing plants, you should leave about 1 to 2 inches of space between the top and the potting mix and the rim to allow for watering without overflowing and give the roots room to breathe, preventing the soil from compacting and clogging drainage. The space lets water soak in thoroughly and prevents soil/water from spilling out when your customer waters.

How are you going to sell them?
Going to put them on Marketplace.

Been doing well with this.

Figure the Cactus should sell because they are blooming. Got bunch of Spider Plants. Figure put the Pineapple there.

See what is being said about water. The Snake Plants mainly hiding where I’ve made cuttings.

Yes. It's crazy how often I cannot seem to keep my potted plants' soil at least an inch below pot rim. I know better . . . Much easier to water when soil level is right.
