Another noob question but I am going out of town in a week. My tomato plants are starting to bloom... I will be gone 2 weeks. Should I be worried about kissing harvest? My husband will be home to water them and weed.

Water your plants just before you leave. Tell your husband to stay out of the tomato patch for one week and if it doesn't rain he can water to his hearts content on one single day but then he has to get out and stay out. Put this in writing so as not to confuse

Hey guys thanks and husband sent me this today!! Wow they are about grown and he’s been telling me he hasn’t seen any fruit, it’s like they grew overnight. I am supposed to be home in a week will they be ripe before that? I’m really worried since I know he won’t pick them all (not purposely but he’ll just miss them).

Those tomatoes (Romas?) won't ripen before you get home.
Does your husband know what a tomato looks like if it's not in a salad or sliced on a plate? Is he tomatophobic? I don't see how he "hasn’t seen any fruit," Those are lovely tomatoes!

Those guys have a ways to go before they ripen so no worries. It usually takes anywhere from 1 to 2 months for a bloom to turn into a tomato and then ripen.
