Garlic Chives?

First time at Chives.

I bought half dozen Garlic Chives.

From what I've read they need to seed to spread.

If this is the case I have them in too small a pot 6 inches.

Since it has been a week since I potted them will it hurt to put them in a larger pot now.

I was so excited I cut the tops off. Noticed they are regrowing so they are Happy Happy.

ooooo might have to plant some myself, do they need lots of looking after? always wanted to grow chives etc
