I had to look that up. I've heard of it but never used it. I'll have to give that a try.. sounds good.
Actually I just remembered my mom used to make cardamom bread and would buy cardamom cheese. I didn't like the cheese but the bread was really good for dipping.

Cardamom is good in pumpkin pie and apple pie. it comes in green pods and white pods, forgot which tastes like what, stronger or milder etc. I have a recipe for cardamom cake, have not made yet. it is a neat smell also in the bottle, reminds me a little of orange. Oh, a bit on steamed or roasted carrots is interesting, but so is cumin.

I thrash them in a mortar for a bit. There are some good cardamom bread recipes out there.

Fridge at times to slow it down and stop it running out of food, does this more if we have very hot weather (not too often here).
I don't bake bread very often so I would end up forgetting to feed it. But I've heard people say it makes a big difference in the taste.

since I ran across a local organic wheat farmer that mill his own grain, of which it does not contain any preservatives etc. I am making a loaf every weekend from it. So this morning I had a slice of it with two free range eggs.

Discovered something yummy. Got a bag of Dried organic Goji berries. I put some with very good plain yogurt, and give it about an hour then the dried berries soften. So good to eat, just enough natural sweetness, and good vitamins too.

I love goji berries! I end up just snacking on them all before I add them to anything lol. I'd like to blend them and make some fruit roll up's with blueberries or something in the dehydrator. The yogurt sounds yummy too.

Found a natural yogurt called Brown Cow, full fat, has a layer of cream on top. Love it so yummy with the Goji berries, like a dessert.
If it has culture in it (live bacteria) you can use a little to make your own yogurt. It's a lot cheaper and you would have an endless supply using a little from each batch to make more :)
