Lunchables today....

Everything fresh from the garden.

No "cides" or synthetics used in producing them.

Balanced protein without any meat.

Can't imagine a better lunch. 🤠

I am a Philistine, I can imagine it with cheese and pickle, or peanut butter and jam, why not? I love a bit of indulgence.
Peanut butter and jam yes, had some orange marmalade on it last night. but not the pickle and cheese. I have no issues tossing flavors together that seem like it will not work, but in this case nope with the pickle and cheese, maybe Philly cream cheese, or a good brie. But you did not say what type of cheese. So many awesome ones out there.

We've done lots of stuffed pepper. We usually do a mix of ground beef and Italian sausage for the filling.

As for cucumbers, vinegar works but I prefer mine salted.

Have you tried fermented carrots? Simple to make, have some tang to them and still crunchy. And they keep well.

The stuffed peppers I do are the traditional Eastern European type. Ground meat, rice, seasoning, sitting in a deep baking dish with a good tomato sauce around it, baked for at least an hour. Seasoning are not the same in every east European kitchen.

So this week a quick trip with the car. Have to print out Trip Adviser for Restaurants, looks like we will be eating out 3 nights at least. Hope to explore something interesting.
