First time cacti grower..

So I bought 5 of them in home depot and took it home and start my research.. I checked the soil and its bone dry so I water it. Are they still in good shape? Because I dont know how long they have been in the shelf so the question is, should I transfer them now to a pot or wait? I will use a different lighting system on this one not like the lighting I use for my strawberries. Any do's and dont's? I already watch like 3hours worth of youtube videos on how to care for them. I also bought cacti mix soil..

They look healthy enough

The fluffy one and the 2 smaller ones in the second pic might benefit from bigger pots, but it's not pressing

Just potted up a load of cuttings into a gritty home made compost
